Manman Chan, the founder of Essays in Cacao, brings over a decade of experience from the advertising and marketing industry into her chocolate journey. Previously the co-founder of CHOKOHOOD at Tai Hang in 2021, the very first chocolate café in Hong Kong, she has always cherished the artistry of craft chocolate and the stories behind every bar.

For her, chocolate isn’t just a treat — it’s the starting point for a richer, more meaningful life. Guided by the belief that high-quality, fine chocolate can bring people together and help make the world a better place.
